Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to support decision-making and performance evaluation.
Cash Management: Manage cash flow, monitor liquidity needs, and optimize working capital to support ongoing operations and project requirements.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigate financial risks.
Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and internal control practices.Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
