The Controller is responsible for the financial reporting, cost accounting and oversight of accounting operations for Bev-Hub and Nitro-Joe's. This position is heavily relied upon to be a business unit leader providing financial analysis and oversight to our parent company Midwest Health.


  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's financial functions and performance.

  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends.

  • Provide analysis, tools and metrics that assist the business unit in achieving operational and financial excellence.

  • Participate and/or assist in new program contract bidding process to ensure required return on investment is met and appropriate margins are estimated.

  • Actively participate in the strategic direction and planning of the business with the business unit leader and Corporate team.

  • Develop tools, processes, policies and accounting infrastructure to ensure reliable financial reporting and to support the growth of the business unit.

  • May manage and/or perform business unit payroll administration.

  • May supervise a small team.


  • Finance/Accounting or related area of study, at least five to seven years of related experience; or combination of education and experience.

  • Experience developing, implementing and managing processes, developing standards, audit, accounting, finance, tracking budget expenses, analyzing information, developing budgets.

  • Understanding of a multi-process, job shop manufacturing environment. MRP / ERP experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with people at all levels.

  • Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.

  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

  • Motivated, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards.

  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate and communicate effectively to people at all levels of the organization, including executive presentations.

The Pipeline Controller will be responsible for understanding shipping schedules and monitoring pressures, flows, gravities, tank levels, valve/pump statuses and leak detection modeling on our pipeline systems throughout the U.S. Shift: This position will work a 12-hour rotating shift which will include weekends, nights, and holidays. A Day In The Life Typically Includes: * Ensuring clear and precise communications to both internal and external customers such as security, emergency responders, field personnel, regulators, and the public * Making sound economic decisions, ensuring incident prevention, driving predictable execution and achieving competitive results during your shift * Recognizing operational problems and dispatching appropriate personnel to the affected areas along the pipeline * Independently recognizing and executing changes that need to be made in order to meet the shipper's needs * Understanding and complying with all federal, state, and company laws and regulations * Working in a high-stress environment; maintaining composure during emergency events * The training period may last up to one year and upon completion the trainee will be qualified to operate a pipeline system Successful candidates will have: * Demonstrated ability to articulate and solve complex problems using available information and independent judgment * Demonstrated ability to work under high pressure and stressful situations while remaining poised to make sound decisions * Previous experience prioritizing rapidly changing tasks under stressful conditions * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Solid mathematical skills and be able to mentally calculate equations quickly * Strong computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office products What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: * Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift which will include weekends, nights, and holidays * High School Diploma or equivalent * Ability to respond to the control center within 60 minutes (located at 4111 E. 37th St. N., Wichita, KS, 67220) What Will Put You Ahead?
