DescriptionKforce's client, a long-established NYC based Distributor is seeking a Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of the management team of this successful, well-run organization.

This role is fully in-office.The Controller will report to the President and handle the following: Budgeting, forecasting, and developing more sophisticated management reports and analytics Supervise a small team in performing all accounting functions including financial statement prep, A/P, A/R, Inventory, Payroll, Cash Management, credit/collections and more

Requirements Degree in Accounting (CPA a plus) 10 years of hands-on accounting management for a mid-sized company (50-500 employees) preferably in the wholesale or distribution business Recent controllership or equivalent experience Experience in businesses that had Product/Inventory to manage (i.e.: Retail, Wholesale) Hands-on approach, having managed the books and records including AR/Credit/AP Experience working with ERP system and some experience doing upgrades Experience with queries MS Access experience Excel experience Some experience with Sales Tax Solid computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and positive, upbeat personality Superior data analytics skills Ability to develop budgets, do variance analysis and report back to owners on results and action plans Willing and able to work on site (this is not a remote opportunity)Job TypeDirect HireCompensation140000 - $165000
