We are looking to hire a Controller who will be responsible for executing accounting tasks and strategies and performing day-to-day financial activities. Why join us?

Competitive Base Salary 401K, PTO, and excellent benefits Accelerated Career Growth Job Details Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including monthly close process, financial statement preparation, and internal controls. Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and ensuring efficient completion of assigned tasks.

Partner with the CFO and VP of Finance to develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Consolidate financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Work closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process. Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, sales, and marketing, to provide financial analysis and support.

Oversee tax accounting functions and collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Manage cash flow and develop strategies to optimize working capital. Stay abreast of industry regulations and accounting standards specific to the cannabis industry.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate controller or similar role, preferably within the cannabis industry.

In-depth knowledge of GAAP. Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting processes. Proven experience in managing and leading an accounting team.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
