  • Responsible for monthly financial close, journal entries, accrual calculations, and related documentation

  • Provide both routine and ad hoc accurate and timely reporting, analysis, tracking & monitoring, and budget support

  • Perform variance analysis combined with developing and producing models and reports to conduct analysis based on management/customer requests to determine issues and escalate for resolution

  • Provide branch level analysis and support on finance and business related matters and overall financial performance for the company-owned distribution business (WOD), responsible for multiple locations based on size and complexity

  • Serve as an objective point of view by providing business case analysis to proposed changes

  • Ensure compliance to internal controls, standards, and regulations (IFRS, SOX/MICs, etc.)

  • Lead and participate as a member of process improvement or project teams

  • Assume and complete project responsibilities in a timely and accurate fashion

  • Take corrective action to resolve errors or inconsistencies

  • Will be managing a local Solutions team at the WODs, and some travel might be involved.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

  • MBA and/or CPA a plus

  • 5 years of experience in an analytical or Accounting/Finance role

  • Thorough understanding of financial processes, including financial statements, general accounting

  • Strong knowledge of SAP

  • Proficiency with Business Objects or other SQL query type software preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office required

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High sense of urgency and ability to work with minimal direct supervision

  • Proven organizational and leadership skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate responsibilities, and manage process activities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset and strong team orientation

Our Brewery Representatives are responsible for promoting sales and the overall image of the brands of Craft Brew Alliance by working with distributors, existing accounts, potential accounts and the general public. Specific job duties: Supports the Company's Mission, Vision and Values. Works directly with the Craft Brew Alliance distributors and their sales staff in his/her territory to promote sales. Participation in general and team Sales Meetings, Sales Training & Monthly Meetings. Develops route level relationships with Bar/Store Managers. Oversees special events in their market area. This includes seeking participation in appropriate special events, registration, logistical coordination between the distributor and the event staff and actual attendance and representation on behalf of the company. Volume and distribution goals based on weekly/monthly distributor and channel contribution activities: Chain Execution and Volume Create a weekly schedule to visit your assigned chains when decision makers are in store; focus on execution of ad activity, display planners & secondary displays Broad Market Grow national and home market brand/package distribution priorities Call on top volume accounts, drive incremental effective distribution, identify and execute in displayable accounts Explore and execute price tactics On-Premise Maintain existing accounts, set up promotions, sell in draft and can/bottle packages with buckets Leverage distributor on-premise team to convert non-buy target list Position requirements: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 1-2 years Sales Experience in like industry. Must live in the market area for which he/she is responsible. Must be able to work flexible hours/days/evenings, and be able to travel extensively. Must have good record keeping and business communication skills. Must be familiar with the brewing industry and the beer distribution/wholesaler network. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software such as VIP iDig & KARMA Notes. Proficient math skills related to pricing and profit calculations.
