Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient

The ideal Candidate will have extensive experience in Outpatient Healthcare Financials preferably in a behavioral health setting. This position is a member of the hospitals leadership team. Providing financial leadership and day to day financial management. Including oversight of business office operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general accounting, general ledger, monthly close, yearly close, financial reporting, budget preparation and FTE management.

  • Monitor and control accounts receivables. Closely oversees Business Office functions to ensure cash collection goals are met, and net revenue is properly stated.

  • Improve the profitability of the hospital. Continually monitor costs in all areas, especially staffing as it relates to patient volume.

  • Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced hospital operating costs, and increased revenues.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, financial packages, and other informational reports/analysis.

  • Provide reconciliations, account analysis, and other information for Reimbursement Department, Tax Department, Auditors, etc., to aid in preparation of reports.

  • Prepare annual budget in conjunction with UHS standards. In cooperation with management and department heads, reviews prior financial results and discusses anticipated changes to highlight future needs and trends of the facility.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role in a healthcare setting, behavioral health strongly preferred.

  • Minimum education requirement of a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred

  • Proven record of success improving the profitability of a hospital by continually monitoring costs in all areas, especially staffing as it relates to patient volume.

  • At least 5 years of experience overseeing the Business Office functions to ensure cash collection goals are met, and net revenue is properly stated.

Job Requirements


Education: Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years in a financial management position in a healthcare setting, with experience in managing multiple functions in a healthcare business office preferred.

The Controller is responsible for all aspects of the accounting, financial reporting and analysis for the Uniti Leasing Division, including monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses. The Controller reports to the Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer of Uniti Group Inc. and will support the finance needs of the President of Uniti Leasing. The position has ownership for the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all work product. This position maintains communication and interacts effectively with all levels of the organization. This position supports internal controls and regulatory compliance procedures, tax reporting, and integration of all corporate initiatives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Oversee accounting, reporting and forecasting for Uniti Leasing, including monthly close in accordance with GAAP, account reconciliations and analysis, review and approval of POs submitted by operations, preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual operating plan. * Ensures the accounting for leases is in accordance with Accounting Standards Codification 842, which includes determination of lease accounting classification and appropriate revenue recognition and assists in the maintenance of our lease accounting system, Lease Accelerator. * Cash management and forecasting. * Financial and operational reporting, including providing monthly financial package and operational flash reporting. * Financial business partner of President of Uniti Leasing, providing insight and analysis to support decision making, which will include concluding on proper GAAP accounting for transactions prior to commencement. * Responsible for producing timely, accurate, compliant financial results for all fiscal periods. * Ensure completion of all required reports and schedules, both internal and regulatory. * Present accounting reports and provides responses to CFO, CAO, President of Uniti Leasing and other internal and external clients. * Oversee all reconciliations and audit support related to Uniti Leasing. * Serve as the established functional expert on GAAP accounting requirements of the division. * Assist in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. * Prepare month end and year end closings and financial reporting for account analysis and reconciliations. * Assists in the development and preparation of financial and operating metrics, budget and forecast variances and comparisons. * Provide leadership and management for a variety of ad hoc initiatives including but not limited to financial systems improvements, process enhancements, accounting structures for new business models and relationships, reconciliation diagnostics, and the like. * Performs other duties as assigned.
