Location: Bellingham, WA Position Summary:

Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Essential Duties and

Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.

Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital expenditures. Prepares monthly balance sheets, profit and loss statements, job costs and other reports and ratio analyses to summarize current and projected company financial position in a timely manner. Maintains relationships and communications as necessary between the Company and its bank regarding financial condition, credit lines, loan covenants and other key issues.

Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement including monthly billings/invoicing, accounts receivable, etc. Responsible for satisfactory completion of Company's annual audit. Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

Devises and implements system for general accounting. Acts as primary contact with software vendor. Coordinates training and modifications to software program.

Families enjoy uncrowded shorelines, parks, and other attractions.  In short, Bellingham is a wonderland for outdoors-loving folks of literally every stage of life - and a great place to call home.<br />  <br /> Looking for a change of scenery?  We seek candidates with a Bachelors degree in public health, epidemiology, nursing (AA degree acceptable) or medical technology program (American Society for Clinical Pathology), or other equivalent discipline for the role of <b>Manager of Infection Prevention</b>.  In this role you will lead the coordination of the Infection Prevention department day to day operations of the assigned network to ensure that the hospital implements best practices and processes to reduce and eliminate hospital acquired infections, incorporates appropriate vaccination and prevention strategies, and accurate methods of surveillance and reporting of infection rates. You will be responsible for results including costs, methods, and staffing.  You will be responsible for operational performance, quality, service environment and regulatory compliance.  You will ensure that the hospital meets or exceeds all regulatory and accreditation requirements associated with infection control.  You will be responsible, in collaboration with other health care team members, for the surveillance of healthcare acquired infections; educating caregivers about infection prevention; and developing policies and procedures to insure rigorous infection prevention and control standards to reduce the risk of infection to patients, visitors, and caregivers. You will assure compliance with external agency guidelines including accreditation bodies, OSHA, State Epidemiology and Public Health Department, and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) requirements. <br />  <br /> Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in public health, epidemiology, nursing (AA degree acceptable) or medical technology program (American Society for Clinical Pathology), or other equivalent discipline, or experience in the field of infectious disease and prevention.
