Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to compliance and a deep understanding of financial regulations within the construction industry. This role requires a dedicated professional who thrives in a structured environment and is passionate about ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement and maintain rigorous internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare detailed financial statements and reports, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations, staying up-to-date with any changes in laws and policies.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to provide financial guidance and ensure project budgets are maintained.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance in all financial activities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
