Our client, a well-respected construction company, seeks an exceptional Controller to join their Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Controller to join a long-standing organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, be collaborative, and have experience in construction accounting.

Position Overview:

The Controller will lead a cohesive Accounting department. This is a fast-paced and high-volume environment that provides extensive exposure to the business of construction.

Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Managing all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger.
• Coordinating the annual budgeting and planning process.
• Administering and reviewing all financial plans for variance analysis.
• Responsible for cost accounting, equipment management, and revenue recognition.
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies.
• Responsible for audits and compliance Supervising payroll and contract.
• Participating in the hiring process, including interviewing and selecting candidates
• Overseeing the onboarding process for new employees to ensure smooth integration.

Required Experience/Skills for the Controller:

• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
• Prevalent industry experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Controller:

• Sage experience.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred but not required.
