We are looking for a Controls Engineer to join our Test Engineering team.
You will design and commission various electromechanical and fluid systems for a state-of-the-art electrolyzer manufacturing plant. You will be comfortable working across a wide range of automation technologies. You will work onsite at our Gigafactory in Devens, MA and report to the Director of Test Engineering.Role and ResponsibilitiesCommission, install, and troubleshoot new manufacturing equipment
Write PLC control logic for manufacturing equipment and end-of-line test equipment
Interface with equipment vendors
Manage, design, and troubleshoot industrial networks
Utilize modern version control for PLCsHire, mentor, and train a team of controls technicians and engineers
Create interfaces between manufacturing equipment and ERP/MES databases
QualificationsBachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or similar engineering degree (advanced degree a plus)5 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Have a wide range of automation technology experience (multi axis servo drives, vision systems)Fluid systems experience (Pneumatics and Hydraulics)Experience with networking in an industrial or manufacturing environmentLI-OnsiteCompensation and Benefits | P3Natick Zone$116,450-$144,925 USDActual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen's total rewards package.
