Primary Focus:

Responsible for the monitoring and controlling the movement of product through facility pipelines, analyzing changing conditions and alarms and making necessary adjustments, monitoring system integrity to maximize safety, efficiency, quality, and customer service.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Cushing facility.

  • Control the movement of material through pipelines within the facility via SCADA using automated/manual valves and pumps.

  • Monitor pressure, temperature and volume using SCADA system to ensure safe receipt and delivery of volumes.

  • Analyze and take appropriate action to all SCADA alarms as per Cushing CCO procedures.

  • Maintain continuous vigilance of leak detection tools to identify and mitigate potential leak situations.

  • Investigate volume imbalances (CMT, SCADA ect.) and take appropriate actions for resolution as per Cushing CCO procedures.

  • Monitor terminal system performance and notify operations when maintenance and/or repairs are needed.

  • Ability to move from task to task fluently, stay organized and prioritize tasks/daily work.

  • Provides advanced notification to Shipper Services when deviations from scheduled movements are expected or have occurred.

  • Ensure strong communications between all work groups during daily operations and at shift change.

  • Ensure all spreadsheets and record keeping are completed and kept up to date.

  • Adhere to all CRM regulations set forth by PHMSA.

  • Complete and maintain all required qualifications and training set forth by PHMSA and Enbridge.

  • Participate on Control Center enhancement teams as needed.

  • Adhere to Cushing CCO procedures and processes.

  • Attend mandatory meetings as required.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Possession of a high school diploma and a 2-year Engineering Technology Diploma or 3-5 years related pipeline experience. Equivalencies will be considered.

  • Excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service and a willingness to work in a team environment are essential.

  • Good problem-solving skills, including the ability to utilize multiple resources to arrive at a solution.

  • The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check in accordance with Enbridge and regulatory requirements.

Phillips 66 & YOU- Together we can fuel the future Description The Terminal Operator is responsible for providing support for operations by maintaining and operating equipment and processes at our Cushing, OK Midstream Terminal. The role will participate as an integral team member and will be a key contributor to the organization from a support capacity. Responsibilities may include: * Ensuring quality and quantity of refined products and/or crude oils. * Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts in a timely manner. * Ensuring timely completion of all required paperwork. * Staying abreast of changes in operation requirements, policies and processes. * Performing operational duties in accordance with the Terminal Operating and Procedures and Site-Specific Procedures. * Compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures. * Responding to emergencies, maintaining emergency equipment and participating in emergency response training and exercises. * Completing mandated safety and regulatory training (computer-based and instructor led training). * Monitoring controls and establishing valve line-ups for pipeline delivery and receipts. * Maintaining effective and professional relationships with customers and responding promptly to their needs. * Performing environmental and regulatory checks (eliminating, containing and reporting all product seeps and spills). * Performing security and equipment facility rounds; minimizing downtime and unsafe conditions. * Assisting with new employee training. * Completing daily, weekly, monthly and annual inventory reconciliation including agency and other required reports. * Performing Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Work Permits, Excavation Permits, and Confined Space Entry permits for safe and effective execution of work. * Performing TPIC (Terminal Person in Charge) duties at the marine dock. * Complying with Waste Management per local Environmental processes in addition to SPCC, DOT, TRRC, USCG and Measurement Manual. * Acting as Terminal Person in Charge (TPIC). * Performing work in accordance with Operator Qualifications (OQ's). Qualifications Basic/Required: * Legally authorized to work in the job posting country * High school diploma or GED equivalent * Must maintain valid driver's license * 18 years of age or older * Willing and able to perform/comply, with or without a reasonable accommodation, with the following: * Climb various ladders and stairs to operate valves, gauge tanks, or perform maintenance on equipment are a part of this position; the ladders and stairs typically range from 5 to 40 feet in height * Raise and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds (71lbs for marine locations) * Walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material daily on even and uneven terrain * Work outside in harsh weather conditions * Wear personal protective equipment, such as flame-retardant clothing, eye protection, ear protection, steel-toe boots, hard hat, etc. * Be on call, work overtime, nights, weekends, or holidays on an as-needed basis * Work alone a high percentage of the time * Work a 12-hour rotating shift * Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
