Data analytics company has an immediate opening for highly skilled and paralegals and unlicensed JDs with contract experience. If you are a motivated self-starter and standout colleague with good computer skills and ability to multi-task, this may be the position for you.

How you will make an impact ? Searching through agreements, finding and tagging appropriate information, populating the spreadsheet, renaming the agreements, creating the agreement hierarchy, uploadting into appropriate folders. ? Reviewing contracts and tagging pertinent information. What we're looking for ? Paralegals with experience reviewing financial contracts. Attention to detail and accuracy, confidentiality ? Proficient in Microsoft word and excel ? Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset ? Unlicensed JDs will also be considered.

VIEW JOBS 9/19/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-18T00:00 Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the General Counsel will be responsible for managing and overseeing the legal functions of the Bank. Responsibilities include providing direct legal support to the Bank's executive management team, business units and other support centers. Will assist with litigation, corporate governance matters, Board and internal policies, merger and acquisitions, vendor management, risk management, regulatory filings, general corporate matters, miscellaneous legal research and analysis and a variety of other tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES * Advise and provide guidance to executive management, business units and support centers of the bank (including retail banking, commercial lending, residential lending, trust services and wealth management, branch administration, marketing and human resources) to help ensure that the legal rights of the Bank are protected, that its legal obligations and potential exposures are well defined and understood by management and that the Bank and its affiliates comply with applicable laws and regulations. * Assist with mergers and acquisitions and SEC reporting. * Provide support for retail banking and branch administration which includes providing advice and assistance on the administration of wills and trusts, guardianship and probate appointments and responding to discovery requests and court orders involving customer accounts. * Review and negotiate vendor contracts and real estate leases, review customer agreements and review terms of marketing proposals. * Prepare and file regulatory applications and notices with Commissioner of Banks, FDIC, Federal Reserve Board and other governmental agencies as may be required from time to time. Attend various management meetings as needed and provide appropriate guidance and advise to management as necessary. SUPERVISIORY RESPONSIBILITIES Assistant General Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, Legal Counsel, Paralegal Manager, Subpoena Specialist, Research Analyst, Legal Assistant, Lien Levy Clerk, Subpeona Analyst #LI-SP1 Requirements * 15 plus years corporate and commercial practice experience, prior representation of banking clients or employment within the banking industry preferred. * Excellent legal research and writing skills and working knowledge of various computer research systems, including Westlaw. * Excellent organizational skills in order to plan and manage projects and ability to work independently. Attention to detail is an essential prerequisite. * Strong verbal and written communication and legal drafting skills required. Writing samples of both research memoranda and legal drafting may be requested. * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Acrobat Reader and Writer.
