The Sikorsky line of business within Rotary and Mission Systems is looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic individual to perform as a contracts negotiator in support of Sikorsky's portfolio of contracts for Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programs, including but not limited to the Army's mission systems and advanced teaming programs as well as the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) and Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) programs.
We are currently building the FVL team as our workload continues to grow. This will be a high visibility role on a very-high priority set of programs.
The buying commands are using a variety of non-procurement contracts, so the candidate must be comfortable with OTAs, TIAs, and other non-FAR/DFARS based agreements. This position will support the programs in implementing contracting strategies that support Company and Customer objectives.
Experience in Federal Government contract administration and negotiations, program management, or a related field.
Familiarity with Federal procurement regulations.
Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.
Ability to obtain Secret-level security clearance
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
