The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the aircraft sale from execution through delivery and clearing of post-delivery obligations include but not limited to:
Pre-Sale and Purchase Agreement preparation and negotiations with high level customer executives and interface with upper management.
Management of all aspects of the sale from execution through delivery and clearing of post-delivery obligations.
Assist the Specification and Design Department in finalizing all completion specifications and obtaining customer approval.
Prepare financial analysis for review by Director of Contracts and upper management approval.
Prepare documents required for title transfer and filings with regulatory authorities and customer approval.
Coordinate and chair aircraft closing
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Support Contracts and New and Pre-Owned Sales Departments efforts with customer prospects.
Manage each new / pre-owned Purchase Agreement, Brokerage and Lease Agreements and other documents as assigned under their respective responsibility.
Pre-Sale Agreement presentation, negotiation and execution.
Proposal Analysis preparation and executive approval management.
Purchase Agreement presentation, incorporate negotiation changes, obtain internal approvals, and presentation of revised Purchase Agreement to customer.
Coordinate execution of final Purchase Agreement.
Purchase Agreement Abstract review and approval as well as informing Associate Contracts Administrator of any updates, when required.
Participate in prospect meetings to explain the specification, completion, and delivery process.
Primary point of contact related to all commercial aspects of the aircraft acquisition and delivery process.
Participate in customer specification development meetings and final specification review prior to release of initial issue and ensure that all contractual obligations that need to be included in the completion specification are defined.
Work authorization of all Change Requests for work in process aircraft.
Obtain costs and schedule from Production and/or Dassault Service Center and develop a proposal for customer requested changes.
Amendment and Assignment preparation, negotiation and execution.
Ensure all workflows and processes are followed and milestones met from Pre-Sale Agreement through Post-Delivery including clearing of squawks & collection of holdbacks through the Document Management System.
Inform Director of Contracts and upper management when milestones appear as though they will not be met prior to reaching critical mass and propose recommended action plan.
Coordinate with Customer Completions Administrator and various departments at the completion facility
Interface with escrow agent in reserving FAA registration numbers, filing FAA documents and International Registry filings and consents.
Coordinate Post Delivery Questionnaire customer responses.
NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Other duties assigned to meet the department needs.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Seven (7) years experience in proposal preparation/management, cost/price and financial analysis, negotiation, preferably in the general/corporate aviation industry.
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent computer skills in Excel,Windows, Microsoft Office 365 and various video conferencing software.
Excellent analytical and math skills.
Manage high volume activities with short term deadlines.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in or knowledge of the corporate aviation industry, especially the Falcon Aircraft product line.
Experience with DocuSign software.
Experience with a Document Management System.
Fluency in French and/or other foreign languages.
Office and remote working conditions. Night, weekends and/or holiday coverage as required.
Domestic and international travel is required, sometimes with little or no notice.
