Job Purpose: The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to performance monitoring and compliance for both government and commercial contracts. This role involves reviewing, drafting, revising, and negotiating contracts while ensuring accuracy and alignment with government regulations and company policies.Responsibilities
Reviewing, drafting, revising, and negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance.
Applying best practice methodologies to develop and implement contract strategies.
Collaborating with internal and external customers to gather requirements and prepare statistical analyses for contract reviews.
Managing the workflow for all stages of contracts, from bids to close-out or renewal.
Monitoring compliance, conducting research, and performing extensive analysis to ensure contracts meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Leading special contract-related projects and making recommendations for process improvements.
Creating and maintaining relationships with suppliers, clients, and stakeholders, and providing reports on contract operations to management.
Problem-solving contract-related issues and ensuring proper documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Representing the company at conventions and client meetings in line with company policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited College or University.
Minimum 5 years of related experience within government contracting.
Federal contracting experience required.
