Contracts Manager

The Contracts Manager is responsible for reviewing, updating, analyzing and administering company related contracts. The Contract Administrator oversees the planning, administration, and revision of contracts to make sure all parties' needs are met.

General Responsibilities

• Prepare and design contracts, advising company on the details in the contracts

• Present and explain contract conditions and details to all relevant parties

• Review terms and conditions including identification and resolution of any non-standard terms

• Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness

• Update existing contracts when legal changes are made

• Create standardized language for new contracts

• Monitor all contract deadlines and conditions to ensure timelines are kept

• Analyze and report on specific risks associated with contract

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
