Parker Meggitt Fluid Systems Division
POSITION SUMMARY:
This Contract Management position will work closely with all functional teams at the operational site level.
This position reports to the General Manager and is responsible for the order management, contracts management, proposal management, and contracts administration team. It will also interact with multiple business units, sales strategy and marketing, and group legal and trade compliance teams.
Maintains and owns the Customer/ Program relationship from Receipt of Contract through Production.
Individual will proactively lead the customer relationship from sales through final billings and works to manage follow on contracts.
Provides direction, common tools and processes to satisfy internal and external customers in alignment with Meggitt objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the focal point for all contractual activities for the site, including support for existing business and new development / integrated product development teams.
Work closely with the Director of Program Management to recognize and assert changes in scope and constructive changes that are not covered by the contract.
Manage and submit requests for equitable adjustments to the customer within the appropriate time limits.
Develop Program Plan(s) and program schedule to support business operations
Maintains close surveillance over the contracts department related to workflow, timely production, budgetary conformance, and utilization of personnel and equipment.
Ensure that compliance with SOX, DFAR, FAR, and ITAR regulations are being met on all programs
Maintains conformance to budgetary limitations in all subordinate departments
Ensure compliance with all US Government contract reporting requirements.
Must be capable of assessing risk when making decisions concerning processing components
Establish and maintain cost and schedule baselines and forecasts that meet the program, contract, and company requirements
Lead Contracts Baseline Change Management Process & implementation across IPTs
Perform contract/subcontract review, negotiations, and interface with customer/vendor contracting personnel
Assist with cost proposals to address Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements.
Review all contract/subcontract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance, and accuracy
Manage performance, funding, and payments on assigned contracts
Notify management of potential non-compliance and other problems that could have an adverse impact on the company
Participate in customer business management reviews, focusing on contractual issues
Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure compliance with customer requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree is required
Experience:
Min 8+ years of experience working with increasingly progressive levels of responsibility in contracts within the aerospace industry.
Related contracting courses in government, commercial and international contracting, trade compliance, leadership, management, and program management desired
Travel requirement: 10% annual.
Skills:
Experience working in a cross functional business environment with a high level of coordination across multiple functions.
Skilled at negotiation of terms and conditions, pricing, agreements and proposals for a designer/manufacturer of complex components, subsystems and systems.
Ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contract terms and conditions ensuring adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFAR/ITAR/EAR regulations.
Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
Experience negotiating intellectual property rights and nondisclosure agreements.
Pricing experience desired with working knowledge of financial concepts, including price
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)

WORK AUTHORIZATION: This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore, a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. U.S. Citizenship/Permanent Resident is required for most positions.
Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range:$113-$198K plus 15% STIP
