Our in-depth expertise in security engineering at the operating system level enables us to help government and commercial customers meet ever-evolving cyber security threats.Job Summary:The Contracts Manager will support Owl’s continuously growing DoD, public sector, and commercial lines of business. The ideal candidate can expect a highly varied, fast-paced set of requests from our product and services teams as they work to close sales of industry-leading IT products and services with various customers. As a Contracts Manager you should be a team player and participate in building contracts management expertise and act as a trusted advisor to staff and the leadership team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and administer Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements. Participate in proposal development
Negotiate Purchase Orders, Contract and Software License Agreements
Experience with end-to-end government contract administration
Monitor internal compliance with the terms and conditions of awarded contracts
Advise management of contractual rights and obligations
Must be familiar with DoD, FAR and DFARS regulations
Review all contract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance, and accuracy
Identify and mitigate contractual issues proactively to minimize risk.
Prepare RFP packages for prospective subcontractors, as well as evaluate responses
Analyze opportunities and report recommendations to senior leadership to aid in the decision to bid or no bid
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
A certificate of completion of a Government Procurement & Contracts Management Program or the NCMA CPCM may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field
Experience
8+ years of experience in contract management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must have experience with Government and commercial contracting
Must have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and or related government regulations
Must have experience with Services and Products contracts including software license agreements and commercial terms & conditions.
Strong time management skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision and provide regular updates on progress of assigned tasking’s in written and verbal formats
Must be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision in fast-paced environments
Working knowledge of federal export regulations preferred
Additional Competencies/Requirements
US Citizenship is required due to Government contracts
