Oneida ESC Group has an immediate opening for a Contracts Manager in our San Antonio office.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide a diverse range of contract management support of federal contracts.

The Contracts Manager is involved in pre and post-award contract administration activity. The individual acts as a technical contract management resource for the company and a primary point of contact with our customers for contractual issues. This person ensures proposal preparation and program execution are focused on risk mitigation, change management, and timely issue resolution. The individual will support federal government proposals and contracts. Some of the essential duties may include:

  • Preparing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements

  • Overseeing proposal activities

  • Assist in the preparation of the pricing volume for IDIQ proposals

  • Reviewing proposals to ensure compliance with the RFP and company practices.

  • Setting up and formatting cost estimating sheets in Excel to ensure compliance with company practices

  • Assembling final proposal documents in Word, Excel and Adobe

  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients

  • Preparing flowdown clauses for subcontracts

Minimum Requirements and

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years contract management experience required

  • Bachelors degree in a related field

  • Experience with federal contracts is required

  • Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization and time management skills; must be able to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy and detail in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Maintain the highest standards of personal and professional integrity and ethics

  • Effectively communicate with other functional organizations

  • Possess strong problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Capable of working well under pressure and handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact and composure.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Proficient in Adobe

  • Experience in engineering, science, and/or construction industry a plus

  • Must possess working knowledge of the FAR

JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to manage and coordinate the fulfillment of the organization's contract requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reviews, interprets and analyzes contract and service agreements to ensure the terms comply with legal, guidelines, contracting principles, cost constraints as well as with corporate and client procedures. Responds to customer inquires pertaining to modifications of existing contracts and to facilitate all phases of contract management. Prepares and evaluates proposals for new or continuation of existing contracts and makes award recommendations. Negotiates and interprets contracts, and monitors fulfillment of contractual obligations Analyzes amendments to existing contracts or requests for extensions. Provides recommendations of approval or alternation solutions to senior management. Interfaces with the Accounting Department on invoicing and insurance issues. Accountable for administration and execution of Supplier Performance Management Program. Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
