LMI is seeking qualified candidates for positions working for the United States Navy Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (Navy PEO EIS). Navy PEO EIS provides enterprise business information systems, applications, and networks that support Sailors, Marines and civilian workforce around the globe for the Department of Navy.
The junior contracts management specialist will provide subject matter expertise in DoD contracts management, FAR and DFARS, contract planning and preparation, contract administration, and contract documentation support. Representative responsibilities include:
Assist in the preparation of contract documentation including procurement requests, modification requests, request for quotations, request for information, request for proposals, statement of objectives, performance work statements, statements of work, service level agreements, acquisition plans, delivery order/task order, and contract data requirements list.
Provide contract administration support to include: reviewing contract deliverables for compliance and completeness, maintaining Delivery Order/Task Order (DO/TO) and contract files, COR files, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Contract Surveillance Report files, assisting with processing change orders and Equipment/Engineering Change Proposal actions.
Conduct market research and market surveys to identify potential sources and contract vehicles
Perform activities in support of contract closeouts, including tracking submission and preparation of acceptance documents. Ensure acquisition documentation files are complete, properly audited, and closed out.
Provide support to the Program Office in the preparation, revision, and review of contracting briefing materials, demonstrations, and related audio/visual requirements.
One (1) years of demonstrated experience in DoD contracts management
DoD Secret clearance required
DAWIA certification/training in contracting a plus
Experience with Enterprise Information Systems and/or Information Technology (IT) contracting/procurement a plus
