As a Contracts Coordinator you need to know how to:
Maintain, retrieve, and manage St. Vincent contracts in the contract management database
Prepare draft agreement and associated approval documents for St. Vincent Administrative review and approval
Send package of draft contract and supporting documents to SCL Health Legal Department, as required, for review and approval
Prepare signing copies and gather appropriate signatures
Maintain electronic contract management database and paper files on each contract to document background actions in processing the contract
Abstract contract data from contract management database
Prepare reports from the contract management database
Create data source from the contract management database for merged documents (i.e., contracts, correspondence, etc.)
Prepare cover letters and other correspondence related to contract maintenance or termination as needed
Coordinate the performance of the annual review of all contracts
Monitor suspense dates for contract renewals
Provide user-access setup, as required
Provide user training, as required
Assist with reviewing and monitoring payments to physicians
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
Minimum of two (2) years college experience, required
Paralegal experience, preferred
Knowledge and understanding of commonly-used contracting concepts, practices, and procedures, required
Previous contract administration experience, preferred
Expert user/experience in understanding and usage of computers as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position, required
Experience in the use of Meditract System, a contract management database, preferred
