WilsonHCG is seeking to add an experienced professional contracts and procurement manager to our legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with compliance, drafting, negotiating, revising and tracking a broad range of contracts. You will also work cross-functionally with relevant departments and stakeholders to ensure timely routing, approval and execution of such contracts. The successful candidate will be a team player who works well in groups sharing the responsibilities, capable of analyzing, drafting, negotiating, and managing client and vendor agreements. You will need to be highly organized, solutions- and customer service-oriented, pragmatic and proactive in your approach to contracting, and able to work both collaboratively and autonomously.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret international contracts (including among others, confidentiality agreements, client service agreements, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, and amendments), ensuring business needs and priorities are met while minimizing potential risks.

  • Read, understand, and analyze standard business and legal terms, identify issues and risks, and suggest potential solutions.

  • Utilize and maintain contract forms, templates, standard clauses, checklists, guidelines, and policies.

  • Coordinate and process information and responses from business stakeholders and other Law Department members to utilize in contract review and negotiation.

  • Maintain and update the contracts database to store/retrieve contracts, track contract status and milestones, and report on upcoming contract renewals or expirations.

  • Prepare reports and statistics to facilitate the planning and maintenance of contract records.

  • Provide training and guidance to business partners regarding the contract review and approval process, contracts management, and potential risks.

  • Participate in and assist with the resolution of contract disputes and claims.

  • Manage team email queue by responding to inquiries

  • Willingly assist the Legal Department with projects and activities to help balance workloads and support various needs of the Legal Department, as requested.


Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be considered:

  • A strong academic background; a law degree or paralegal certification preferred

  • Significant experience in negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, preferably for services

  • Prior in house commercial contracting experience is a plus

  • Experience with international teams, a plus

  • Superior communications skills (both oral and written)

  • Ability to function as member of virtual team

  • Attention to detail and ability to work across functions

  • Solid analytical skills and strong business acumen

  • Sound business judgment and strong problem solving skills

  • Drive efficiencies and process improvements

  • Strong organization and project management skills
