Job Summary
Join our Danbury, CT team as a Contracts & Compliance Coordinator. This role will perform a variety of activities in support of the Contracts & Compliance team, with a focus on creation and tracking of data submittals, distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and support to our integrated product teams.
This position is fully onsite (no remote work available).
What You Will Do
Compile and maintain contract/project data to be routinely accessible and generate reports as required
Transfer data from customer documentation into the DRS NPS designated business systems, which include Deltek Costpoint, Arena Empower, and others
Verify data accuracy and quality of data entry requirements
Support the team with paperwork for shipment of contract hardware deliverables
Interface as required with contract administrators, project managers, project team members, functional managers, and other team members to support ongoing requirements
Under direction, prepares contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assembles contract documentation packages for submittal
Assists/supports fulfillment of contract deliverables, billings, and cash collections
Assist in other administrative tasks as required
Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years of experience
Organizational skills. Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage own time effectively, produce work of the highest quality, and meet deadlines consistently
Knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills
Comfort and proficient working with software tools / ability to learn quickly
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Familiarity with Enterprise Business System Deltek Costpoint is desirable
Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
