Title: Contracts Analyst
The Opportunity
Contracts Analyst at a Growth-Oriented Energy Company
You will play an important and diverse role in drafting and executing Trade Confirmations (i.e. Bunkers, Refined Products, and Crude), facilitating prepayment billing, supporting internal and external auditors and much more.
You will enjoy wide exposure to the Billing and Settlement teams, Accounting, and Finance, as well as to our multi-state operations that stretch from Texas to Wyoming, Montana, Washington and Hawaii.
While this role could keep you busy and challenged for years to come, we are growing, both organically and via acquisition. A strong performance in this position could set you up to take on additional responsibilities or pursue advancement in our organization along multiple paths.

Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Contracts, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, analyzing, and tracking agreements, revisions and/or contractual correspondence for the assigned Commercial and Marketing group(s).
Key activities include:
Ensure that all contractual terms and impacts are processed in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure compliance with the established SOX guidelines and procedures
Coordinate and communicate agreements and/or system impacts with internal and external clients as appropriate
Review, process, analyze, and track confirmations, revisions and/or amendments for the assigned Marketing group(s)
Monitor and enter daily Marketing activity into Allegro, SAP, and any other pertinent platforms
Process, review, and coordinate contracts, amendments, exhibits, and correspondence for various types of Marketing Agreements
Draft contracts, amendments, or exhibits by applying the established terms and conditions as negotiated by Marketing or Legal
Respond to requests from internal and external clients and ensure all appropriate actions are taken and/or communicated to the appropriate personnel accurately and timely
Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. To be a good fit for the Contracts Analyst opportunity, you will have:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year institution or equivalent work experience preferred
1+ years of relevant contract experience required
Knowledge of industry terminology; understanding of industry contract language required
Analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, including complex/compound spreadsheets
SAP experience required
Allegro experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Fluent in English, both oral and written required
