Position Summary

We're actively seeking a Contract Administrator to support Utility Scale Project Contract life-cycle within our North America Modules & Systems Solution division. The administrator will work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure the accurate and timely execution of contracts.

  • Partner with stakeholders (i.e., Finance, Operations, Sales, Logistics, Legal) on the preparation, tracking, monitoring, and administering all the activities and deliverables throughout the contract's life-cycle.

  • Creates and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.

  • Establish and maintain systems for archiving, tracking, and updating project materials.

  • Schedule meetings and conference calls, prepare materials, and keep meeting minutes.

  • Reinforce quality procedures and work with stakeholders to ensure compliance for projects and client deliverables.

  • Prepare and handle all contractual correspondence and other legal documents and ensure proper document control.

  • Review and amend contracts as needed and ensure changes or amendments are properly documented.

  • Coordinate activities, resources, equipment, and information as directed.

  • Set up internal contract kickoff calls, track that all project initiation requirements are met, and attend project reviews as necessary.

  • Acts as liaison with internal & external stakeholders to support contract requirements.

  • Provide clients with status of contracts execution process and confirms progress and status.

  • Create reporting tools for senior management to have full visibility on contract execution progress.

  • Reviews contract terms and language and seeks approval of functional teams during the contract negotiation process.

  • Manage a high volume of assigned project workload in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of contracts administration experience, B2B sales, project management, account management, or client services environment
  • Desired
  • Experience within the solar, energy storage, renewable, or relatable space

  • Understanding of reviewing, drafting, and negotiating of contracts including agreements, licenses, warranties, non-disclosures and claim variations

  • Proficient with Salesforce (or similar CRM software).

  • Proficient in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong, collaborative communicator with the ability to quickly establish credibility and build relationships, both internally and externally.

  • Experience working within a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment with the ability to quickly establish credibility and build relationships, both internally and externally.

  • Experience managing multiple and competing deliverables ranging in scope concurrently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong critical, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to add value to the organization, generate alternatives and drive positive change.

Compensation & Benefits

Canadian Solar offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on an annual objective achievement. Our generous benefits package includes a 401(k) Retirement Plan, medical/dental/life/disability program, PTO and sick days.

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. This range represents annual base salary only, without regard to location, and does not include bonuses or incentives or benefits that may apply. The pay range for this role is subject to change.
