As a Contract Administrator you will be performing the following responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring contract volumes are accurate and complete in proposal preparation and submissions.
Performs contract administration functions on new and existing contracts as assigned.
Reviews and executes non-disclosure and teaming agreements.
Assists with contract negotiations.
Monitors current status of assigned contracts and task orders.
Disseminates information throughout the company regarding status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination.
Prepares for contract kick-off meetings for new task order awards.
Perform project set-up in CostPoint for new task order awards and modifications.
Assists Division and Field personnel in contract administration functions.
Reviews all new proposals/solicitations for unique/unusual requirements.
Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specification.
Develops or assists in developing cost/price proposals in response to customer requirements, including working with the subcontract administrators to procure subcontractor pricing.
Guides site personnel in preparation for negotiating changes and modifications.
Providing contract administration support to multiple division managers.
Procurement duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree in an associated discipline plus minimum of three (3) to six (6) years experience in related government contract administration, contracts administration, administrative support, procurement, and/or government cost accounting environment.
The desired candidate must have experience and knowledge of administering Government contracts including Fixed Price, Time and Material, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Level of Effort, and General Services Administration contracts.
Desired knowledge of working with Department of Defense and Federal Civilian agencies.
Requires the ability to independently review and analyze Request for Proposals and/or solicitations, identify contract risk, draft and negotiate non-disclosure and teaming as well as coordinate appropriate review in accordance with corporate policy and procedures.
Knowledge of various computer programs (i.e. CostPoint, Word, and Excel). Experience in working with spreadsheets and must have organizational skills. Experience with CostPoint is a plus.
Must have the ability to work independently and take the initiative to handle complex contractual challenges, multiple projects oversight, and develop quick turn-around contract management strategies.
Experience in the preparation, negotiation, and monitoring of contracts.
Excellent communication and people skills.
