Axient is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support our customer in Huntsville, AL.

What you will do...

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Applicant should possess a working knowledge of the FAR/DFARS, and AFARS.

• Duties include: Advise Government Contract Specialists in developing contractual documents, collecting data, and preparing reports.

• Advise Product/Project Mangers (PMs) in the development of contract-related documents, programs, and activities for DoD and Foreign Military Sales.

• Prepare and develop acquisition requirements packages in accordance with (IAW) FAR, DFARS, and AFARS regulations and other DoD directed policies and procedures.

• Review contract data requirements to ensure submittals are accurate, complete, and timely.

• May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Skills you will need...

• Must currently possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Clearance will need to be verified by Axient Security and must be maintained.

• Bachelors Degree with 8 years of direct experience.

• Must have working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and AFARS.

• Prior experience developing acquisition requirements packages under the above listed requirements.

• Experience supporting ASE PMO strongly preferred.

• May require the ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.
