Position Overview

Responsible for the recruitment of new contractors to service warranty customers in areas identified.

Job Responsibilities

  • Liaises with departments, contractors and field sales to facilitate communication and resolve issues.

  • Makes inbound and outbound phone calls.

  • Collaborates with Contractor Relations Reps, managers and service contractors to achieve priorities and goals.

  • Educates and trains contractors on company policies and procedures

  • Negotiates with contractors with predetermined guidelines.

  • Analyzes data to determine gaps in contractor availability within assigned region.

  • Recruits, coaches and maintains quality contractors to meet regional goals

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent years of work experience required

  • Sales/Customer Service experience

  • Self motivated

  • Written communication

  • Organizational and time management

  • Computers skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Adapt to fast paced environment

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm's reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.

VIEW JOBS 3/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-17T00:00 17 LOCATION OF POSITION MDH, Springfield Hospital Center, Sykesville MD Main Purpose of Job The main purpose of this position is to serve as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. This position will: oversee, review and evaluate the agency fiscal records to ensure the accuracy for use in management decisions, projections and budget preparation in order to meet the agency goals and objectives in an effective, efficient and fiscally responsible manner. This position will supervise the Fiscal Accounts Clerk Supervisor who manages the Cash Receipts/Patient Accounts and Accounts Payable sections, as well as the Fiscal Account Technician I and Fiscal Accounts Clerk Supervisor who make up the Payroll & Timekeeping Unit of the department. This position will also be the acting Chief Financial Officer in the Chief Financial Officer's absence. Additional duties include, but are not limited to the following: approving payroll transaction in Workday as needed, initiating interagency billings and projections, approving/rejecting purchase orders verifying the availability of funds and the cost center to be charged, compiling data to prepare special financial reports for intra-agency and interagency used by the agency Chief Financial Officer, Superintendent and various agency departments. This position will complete year-end closeout in R*STARS for submission to General Accounting Division in Annapolis, coordinate all FMIS activities within the agency to provide necessary information to R*STARS, and ADPICS users as well as oversee the process of developing and maintaining a policy and procedures manual for the Accounting Office. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 30 credit hours in accounting and related courses, including or supplemented by 3 credit hours in auditing. Experience: Three years of experience examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, records and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles. Notes: 1. Applicants who had met the requirements for admission to the CPA examination prior to July 1, 1974 will be considered to have met the educational requirement referenced above. 2. Possession of a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant or a Master's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the required experience. 3. Applicants may substitute one year of professional budgeting experience or one year of professional auditing experience for one year of the required experience. 4. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Administration classifications or Financial Management specialty codes in the Financial field on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS The desired candidate should be proficient utilizing MS Excel to navigate and create spreadsheets and workbooks.
