THE ROLE

At Venterra, our most valued resource is our people. We are seeking to provide support to our Venterra's Talent Acquisition team with a highly skilled Specialist who will partner directly with all levels of the company for approximately 6 months. While working proactively to develop and nurture talent communities the ideal candidate will bring a skill-set focused on identifying talent, selling the Venterra culture, and direct sourcing.

You will partner with the Hiring Managers to identify the needs of the role and match the needs with top talent. You will bring innovative recruiting techniques in candidate sourcing and grow, nurture, and engage a pipeline of quality candidates for current and future positions in the multifamily niche market.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the full desk Contract Recruiter will commit to playing an essential role by providing administrative and strategic support to our candidates, employees, hiring managers, and business partners across the organization in an effort to maintain a smooth hiring & recruitment process.

  • Organically source top talent for regions across the portfolio using digital, social media, and recruitment marketing platforms while providing full life-cycle recruiting support including, but not limited to screening resumes of diverse applicants, virtual/in-person screening, and utilizing the ATS to qualify & recommend candidates

  • Promote & maintain a strong recruiting culture among hiring managers and employees and communicate regularly for Recruiting programs (referral, AQC, internal opportunities)

  • Place and update requisitions in various platforms including internal/external career sites,

  • Create offer letters, administer pre-employment check processes, and other recruiting administration functions as needed

  • Design visually appealing graphics, presentations, and marketing materials using Canva, aligning with our brand guidelines to enhance our online presence and engage our audience effectively

  • Provide a concierge-like experience for every candidate and a consultative approach to hiring teams, advising teams throughout the entire recruiting life cycle

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is strongly preferred

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in hiring for roles ranging from entry level to management roles

  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, applicant tracking systems, internet search, database management, and social networks

  • An excellent communicator with an innate ability to motivate and inspire people in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e. phone, video, in-person)
