The Contract Systems Manager will be responsible for maintaining the contract system, training campus on contract submittal and approval process, and managing contract process flow including signoffs from the appropriate areas such as General Counsel, Risk Management, ITS, Human Resources, and others. Contract System Manager will manage approximately 2500+ contracts a year.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or political science.
Master's degree or progression of Master's degree preferred.
5 years' experience working with contracts operably in higher education.
Experience interacting with Risk Management, General Counsel and other contract stakeholders.
Job Specific Qualifications
In depth knowledge of contracts and terms and conditions.
Experience working in a challenging and demanding environment.
Responsibilities
Managing all incoming contracts to the contract system. Including ensuring use of University templates and routing to the appropriate approval workflow. Review and manage contract expiration dates and assist campus with renewals and/or new contracts.
Provide ongoing user training to campus, answer questions as they come in and provide guidance where needed.
Perform routine system Maintenance. Software updates and patch and work with contract software vendor regarding trouble shooting issues in real time.
Other duties as assigned.
