The successful candidate will be part of the Customer Support and Maintenance team supporting our sales and distribution channels. The Contracts Specialist is responsible for customer success and renewal activity within Fortune 500 customers across all industries. The role will drive the delivery, adoption, renewal and expansion of all service contracts in a defined region. This roll engages with Rockwell sales, Rockwell authorized distributors, and Rockwell business/product managers to ensure outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external clients.
The Contract Specialist will have the following primary responsibilities:
Own the Rockwell service contracts for the defined region with Adoption, Delivery, Renewal, and Expansion activities.
Manage renewal business thru influence with Distributor Services Specialist, Focus Account Managers, Channel Account Managers and other sales and services resources by conducting monthly calls to ensure on-time renewal of the contract business they own.
Achieve all on-time renewals for assigned region as well as several goals related to workflow management including but not limited to proposal requests and change requests.
Master several business systems to ensure accurate business forecasting and proposal creation as well as detailed reports to individual business owners.
Use business systems to provide relevant information to customers and the sales teams on current contract usage and possible contract expansion needs.
Manage and conduct kickoff meetings with distributor and Rockwell sales and the customer to ensure accurate delivery of service contracts and remain as a consultative resource throughout term of contract.
Implement corrective actions for renewals at risk with RA Contract Management, RA Sales and Distributor and drive through resolution
Manage relationships with multiple business directors and their teams to influence decisions regarding contracts in renewal process
Manage the expectations of our distributor partners through Issue to Resolution processes and continuous process improvement measures for increased customer success.
