This position will report into Cross- Franchise Strategy & Planning team and will work in close partnership with external customers and internal stakeholders.
This position is responsible for working with vendors and internal customers such as procurement, brand teams and marketing team to ensure contracts move smoothly through the process.
This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus headquarters.
Years of Experience: 1-2 years contract experience
Level of Education: Minimum 4-year degree
Draft and negotiate contract agreements (HCPs, CDAs, MSA, SOWs etc.) with external customers
Set up new vendors
Train internal teams and external vendors on the contracting process and manage contracting activities
Effectively manage relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Participate in monthly budget meetings and assist with budget related tasks
Collaborate closely with brand teams during strategic planning sessions and weekly team meetings
Drive successful development & implementation of innovative and scalable solutions that provide cost savings to the organization
Strong organizational, project management and communication skills
Demonstrated strategic planning capabilities and mindset with agility and adaptability
Motivated and results driven with a propensity for innovative thinking
Enterprise mindset and focus; strong process skills and ability to work in a matrixed organization with cross-functional teams across AstraZeneca Oncology
Ability to influence without authority and establish/maintain credibility with senior individuals/audiences
