This position will report into Cross- Franchise Strategy & Planning team and will work in close partnership with external customers and internal stakeholders.

This position is responsible for working with vendors and internal customers such as procurement, brand teams and marketing team to ensure contracts move smoothly through the process.

This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus headquarters.

Years of Experience: 1-2 years contract experience

Level of Education: Minimum 4-year degree

Specific Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate contract agreements (HCPs, CDAs, MSA, SOWs etc.) with external customers

  • Set up new vendors

  • Train internal teams and external vendors on the contracting process and manage contracting activities

  • Effectively manage relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

  • Participate in monthly budget meetings and assist with budget related tasks

  • Collaborate closely with brand teams during strategic planning sessions and weekly team meetings

  • Drive successful development & implementation of innovative and scalable solutions that provide cost savings to the organization

Learn more about this agency Responsibilities The individual selected for this position will serve as a contract specialist to plan, execute, and administer routine, as well as occasionally politically sensitive, acquisitions of services following the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and supplemental agency regulations and policies.
