Contract Specialist - Active Secret Clearance - Arlington, VA (1X A Week On-Site)

Zachary Piper Solutions is searching for a Contract Specialist (80% Remote) to support DARPA's Contracts Management Office (CMO). This team administers contracts, grants, and other transactions in support of DARPA's research and development mission to make pivotal investments in breakthrough technologies for national security.

Location: Arlington, VA (one day a week onsite)

Responsibilities for the Contract Specialist include:

• Responsibilities will include preparing and administering terms and conditions of Department of Defense Research & Development (FAR Part 35) contracts.

• Assisting in the negotiation of contracts and analyzing proposed costs and prices.

• Preparing contract modifications; Analyzing procurement policies and procedures.

• Preparing required contract file documentation per the FAR, DFARS, and other relevant policies/regulations.

Qualifications for the Contract Specialist include:

• 6+ years of work experience with government contracts.

• MUST HAVE experience using Procurement Desktop-Defense technologies, PD2.

• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, economics, law, or a related field

• Must have a Secret Security Clearance.

Compensation for the Contract Specialist II includes:

• $100,000-140,000 of overall compensation including:

• Health, vision, dental, 401k, and PTO

• *Compensation depending on experience
