Responsibilities

A successful Contract Review Specialist will have a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from reviewing, drafting, revising and negotiating contracts & change orders, monitoring contract performance and compliance, creating & managing an automated operationalized contract oversight process to managing workflow, and assembling training materials

  • The position will coordinate and review contractual documents, and coordinate with external clients, legal counsel, internal accounting team, Controller and Project Management teams to ensure compliance with Current Home Solar Inc.'s established guidelines

  • The main responsibility for the Contract Review Specialist is to mitigate contractual risk for Current Home

  • Review, revise, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction agreements, subcontract agreements, engagement letters, service agreements, referral agreements, supply agreements, ancillary documentation, and other supporting documentation

  • Ensuring proper internal approvals are received for contract

  • Track status of contracts from intake to execution; share and track information with external and internal customers

  • Maintain a streamlined contract review process to ensure reviews are performed in a timely manner

  • Evaluate and propose improvement to contract review process when needed

  • Meet with clients or vendors, either in person or by conference call to discuss customer contract hang-ups

  • Assemble final execution documents and obtain appropriate signatures

Qualifications

Experience working in a Solar Contract Review department within the operations department of a Solar Energy company

  • Experience reviewing customers services agreements and reviewing and negotiating contracts documents

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, written and verbal, are essential

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including familiarity with common legal terminology

  • Exceptional organization skills, strong self-motivator with high attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization in a positive, collaborative manner
