  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)

  • Minimum 3+ years of applicable work experience

  • Familiarity with Oracle and/or SAP MRP/ERP systems.

  • Proven Risk Management capabilities

  • Certification Preferred - APICS, CPM, or CIPS

  • Proven experience in commodity purchasing, especially with electronics


  • Purchase products, supplies, and services within assigned commodity

  • Actively work to minimize the risk to production and customer OTD (on-time delivery) through forecasting and planning alongside other members of the supply chain team

  • Execute sourcing strategies, supplier evaluations, and performance monitoring

  • Negotiate directly with suppliers driving purchasing strategies that optimize aggressive product costing standards for assigned materials and components

  • Optimize inventory levels as required by the business to ensure maximum control of working capital

  • Conduct inventory analysis for excess and obsolete materials

  • Carefully consider long lead time forecasts and sales trends prior to large purchases

  • Coordinate and sustain processes and systems that evaluate supplier quality, technical & process capabilities

  • Analyze supplier performance continuously, as per the business' QMS

  • Execute continuous improvements activities and works closely with suppliers and our internal continuous improvement specialists to achieve progress

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of commodity market

  • Develop relationships with suppliers and hold them accountable for the highest level of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)

The Manufacturing Engineering Co-op will be an active member of a multi-person support team driving improvement of critical manufacturing operational systems. You will be assigned a primary and secondary project for the period in addition to several tasks that may support other areas. In this role you will * Work to develop and implement a systematic fixture management process * Gap assessment on fixture management and deployment of gap closure * Fixture development for critical parts * Implementation of critical spares management in ERP system * Develop reporting tools for critical spares * Improve fixture handling, serialization, storage and management. * Aide in a project to improve data/metrics for tool utilization to improve OEE Traits we believe make a strong candidate * Self-driven, creative and motivated individual that can work independently or in a team environment * The ability to deliver results in a timely manner that meet the organization standards * Desired Major: Mechanical or Chemical Engineering * Demonstrated examples of leadership and initiative * Strong emphasis towards hands-on engagement * CAD or SolidWorks experience preferred * Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a graduation date of December 2020 or later What we offer: At Entegris we are committed to providing equal opportunity to all employees and applicants.
