We are seeking a skilled Contract Manufacturing Administrator to join our experienced team in the DuPont Shelter business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage our external suppliers as the primary interface and oversee all aspects of contract manufacturing requirements, with a strong emphasis on upholding DuPont's Core Values, Quality, and Supplier Relationship Management. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, driven by a desire to achieve excellence, possesses exceptional communication and organizational skills, and has a proven track record in operations, technical, or supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
Partner with suppliers to administer and coordinate assigned activities related to all aspects of contracts between DuPont and supplier.
Establish and oversee an effective supplier management program and maintain trustworthy relationships with all suppliers assigned.
May facilitate a supplier selection process, including conducting site audits, and communicating our business needs in a Scope of Work
Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to DuPont core values, quality, and cost standards.
Establishes applicable audit schedules to mitigate risk for EH&S (S12Y), DuPont owned inventory at suppliers (SOX), and Intellectual Property (IP)
Participate in risk assessments and implement mitigation actions.
Develop and execute supplier performance metrics.
Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration and monitoring of outsourced products and services.
Continuously identify opportunities to drive value, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships and performance.
Ensures contract provisions are completed efficiently and effectively, including cost verification and receipt of services so suppliers receive timely payment for their services.
Lead or participate in quality non-conformance investigations and utilize tools such as 5-Why, FMEA, and Root Cause Failure analysis to determine effective corrective actions. Monitor and ensure completion of corrective actions.
Activities may include participating in contract negotiations, renewals, and modifications with the buyer.
Works independently and receives minimal guidance; contributes to and executes business, functional, or product strategies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract manufacturing management or related field (Operations, Technical, Supply Chain, or Procurement)
Proven experience with managing working relationships and conflicts.
Experience with SAP P23/P80 and other related software tools is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn and adapt to innovative technologies and processes.
Business travel up to 15%
