Contract Manager (La Porte, TX) - Austin Industrial

Austin Industrial, located in La Porte, TX is actively seeking to fill a Contract Manager position, as part of our Risk Management division! The purpose of this position is to administer the risk management of all contractual relationships of the operating company and support the Director of Risk Management in discharging department responsibilities.

Functional Areas of Responsibility

• Prime contract negotiations

• Prime contract insurance

• Subcontract variance negotiations

• Subcontract insurance variance

• Master Agreement administration

• Contract Review administration

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate risk in all contracts

• Ensure proper allocation of risk in all contract language

• Manage risk transferred to the operating company through contractual flow through provisions to lower-tier third parties (subcontractors/vendors)

• Negotiate and monitor Master Agreements and Master Insurance Certificates

• Develop risk mitigation plans related to prime contracts

• Facilitate "Manage by the Contract" program and Industries' Risk Assessments

• Prepare Contract Review brief summarizing the contract, potential problems and recommended actions to be taken on the contract. Assist in preparation, review,

and coordination with enterprise Risk and Fee Analysis process

• Prepare and deliver risk management training curriculum

• Other duties as assigned
