Responsible for the implementation and support of all activities related to developing and maintaining service provider contracts. Interacts with all areas of the Magellan organization to coordinate network management and network administration responsibilities and facilitates resolution of contract issues, obtains legal review and approval of working changes in contract documents. This position is responsible for monitoring provider contract compliance and for development of performance based contract incentives.

  • Negotiates contracts and amendments with Public Network Operators (PNOs), Qualified Service Providers (QSPs), facilities, organizational and/or large group providers, as well as independent practitioners.

  • Works with other departments as needed for timely completion of annual amendment cycles from beginning to end.

  • Manages annual re-contracting efforts across departments.

  • Provides oversight to the Prospective Provider and SCA processes.

  • Manages the Primary Care Management Module (PCMM) and Rates Governance process to address provider requests for contract modification.

  • Minimizes situations where retro-active contract modifications are required.

  • When retro-active implementation is necessary, utilizes streamlined approach to obtain approvals, providing thorough communication to approvers regarding the reason for delay.

  • Monitors ongoing provider performance changes in cost and utilization needs.

  • Develops and maintains professional working relationships with providers.

  • Analyzes contract modification requests and coordinates with the Finance Department on financial impact of any rate/funding changes.

  • Develops and implements process for monitoring provider contract compliance and performance based contract incentives.

  • Identifies and implements process improvements to the contract/amendment process as needed.

  • Ensures that contracts are system compatible, loaded correctly, timely and meet legal and business standards.

  • Ensures contracts audits are accurate and on time.

  • Develops and maintains professional working relationship with providers.

  • Provides supervision/performance management to team of contract coordinators.

  • Works in concert with other teams to respond to changing or emerging system initiatives; actively participates in RFP re-bid processes as needed.

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively more responsible public sector health care administration experience in contract administration.

  • Demonstrated advanced experience with public sector financial/contractual analysis and negotiations including risk arrangements.

  • Awareness of and/or experience with trends toward contracting integrated healthcare networks.

  • Critical thinker.

  • Self-motivated and a team player.

  • 5 years of direct experience in lieu of degree.

  • For roles supporting MRx, a Pharmacy Technician (either CPT/LPT/PTCB/RPT based on State Requirements) preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency of pharmacy data and information.

  • Project management experience.

  • Strong preference for managed care contracting experience.

Maintenance Specialist - Frankfort KY Mission This position is responsible for leading efforts to ensure asset reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, controls, and safety systems. Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect business operations using data and/or other reliability tools (FMEA). This broad primary role includes loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management. Other responsibilites inculed: * Overhauls, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs plant operations equipment, which includes but is not limited to high speed bottling equipment, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and fans. * Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on plant machinery. * Locates root sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. * Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders. * Read blueprints, control system drawings and repair manuals. * Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with all plant procedures, rules, and regulations. * Follows all Food Safety, 5S and ISO guidelines, policies and procedures. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and other key personnel by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. * Uses the plant Computer Maintenance Management System (SAP) to add, retrieve and close out completed work orders. * Others duties as assigned. Desired Qualifications 1st Level Qualifications: Education and Background- * Successful completion of Standard Timing Model (STM) testing at a score of at least 60 * Successful completion of the Bennett Mechanical test at a score of at least 75 * Must have a minimum of an Associates' degree in Industrial Maintenance with emphasis on Mechanical Maintenance or Engineering. May also accept documented classroom and hands on equivalent Military mechanical maintenance training/education and experience or Licensed Journeyman-level Millwright / Machinist or successful completion of state certified apprenticeship program for equivalent relative craft. If 1st Level qualifications are met, 2nd Level Qualifications: Successfully demonstrate proficiency by passing a written or electronic mechanical skills knowledge test (Ramsay MecTest with a score of at least 70%).
