What you will do:
The Contract Manager is responsible for negotiation and contract development/management and collaborating with sales/marketing, finance, accounting, aircraft maintenance and legal functions in developing proposals that reflect the interests of CAM. Responsible for contract management within CAM, including monitoring conformance to terms regarding aircraft lease agreements; engine lease agreements; aircraft and engine maintenance agreements; aircraft and engine purchase and sale agreements; and aircraft conversion agreements. Coordinates with sales/marketing to develop, organize and prepare for negotiation and administration of all contracts, contract amendments and related activities. Ensures legal, finance, accounting and maintenance review and approvals are accomplished. Communicates all contractual requirements, implications, interpretations and changes to senior management of affected business team disciplines. Identifies, develops, and implements contract control management procedures and processes that can be effectively administrated, including with respect to the oversight of accounts receivable. Assumes focal point responsibility for all communication with sales/marketing, finance, accounting, legal and maintenance for resolution of contract issues and disputes.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years relevant contract administration experience, OR Associate Degree and 4 years relevant contract administration experience, OR 6 years of relevant professional contract management experience.
Preparation of proposals and negotiation and administration of contracts in accordance with complex company policies and legal requirements.
Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign and coordinate workload of assigned areas and employees within a multiple project setting.
Oral, written, presentation, problem solving and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, train, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of employees, management, customers and sales prospects.
Positive, flexible, and service-oriented attitude toward internal and external customers; proven leadership results that requires little direction and/or motivation.
Minimum 8 years combined airline, MRO, OEM or other commercial experience (can be concurrent with experience above).
Demonstrated experience in negotiating and contract drafting as well as knowledge of legal, financial, accounting, and standard business practices related to contracts.
Customer relationship experience.
Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheets or data base applications, project management tools, email, and web based applications.
Advance degree and/or formal training in business, finance or marketing.
Direct experience in airline or MRO contracting.
