Intern Program Highlights:
Meaningful Projects: Apply your knowledge and skills by participating in high profile projects in a respected and highly rated company. Take part in our collaborative work environment focusing on process improvements that help us better serve our customers, including both external and internal customers.
Corporate Learning & Development Programs: Participate in internal programs that allow you to develop professional skills and competencies such as Empower (leadership course), Products 101, 12 Inclusive Behaviors, Microsoft Excel training, etc.
Personalized Coaching: Receive career and leadership coaching specific to you and your development needs from our Early Career Program team.
Mentors: Be paired with professionals at MassMutual to learn about the business throughout several departments while utilizing your mentors as a sounding board to share and shape your ideas.

Business Unit Overview:
Technology Services & Resiliency (TSR)/Efficiencies & Improvements -This function provides the TSR engagement management and continuous improvement oversight of Application & Infrastructure Production Support Managed Services contract with Cognizant. This is a $33 million/yr. services contract delivered by Cognizant from Springfield, Enfield and 3 locations in India. 400+ Cognizant associates provide these services to TSR.
Incorporated into the Efficiencies & Improvement function is coordination of TSR's ongoing Automation Initiative as well as targeted continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Hive Center, Uptime 100, Cost Optimization, etc.) and cost savings initiatives to further mature and optimize the Managed Services.

Measurement of Success:
At the end of the internship, the Candidate should:
Develop of a working understanding the Application & Infrastructure Production Support Managed Services contract and be able to implement necessary changes (to the contract), as well as participate in/perform monthly reconciliation of contract invoices. Show ability to assist in the 2021 budget development process for the services.
Show ability to assist in required contract negotiations. Show ability to oversee and drive continuous improvement initiatives and activities. Show ability to work in an environment that bounces between commercial and technical issues and resolve for desired outcomes.
