Consider CAES. The most important thing we build is TRUST Overview *This is a contract position with a duration of 3-4 months

  • Provides drafting/design support for radio frequency (RF) and/or wireless transmission design. To produce all types of drawings using computer generated methods in accordance with specified drawing standards.

    Responsibilities To create CAD models of parts and assemblies in support of new product design and development. Generate documentation, drawings, and layouts in support of new product design and development. Generate Engineering Change Orders to maintain engineering documentation.

    Incorporation of drawing changes of existing product documentation. To create supporting illustrations and documentation for product assembly fixtures, procedures and proposals. Perform Document Control function by distributing of Engineering Change Orders and Controlled Prints.

    Recalls obsolete documents. Perform other tasks, as required, to support engineering and production documentation efforts. Ability to work in a team environment Qualifications MINIMUM:

    Two year minimum trade or technical school specializing in Design and Drafting Working knowledge of CAD design software (Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks) or similar CAD applications Good space relationship of three dimensional objects and assemblies Self-starter that works independently on assigned task Good organization and filling skills Working knowledge of ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices. Working knowledge of Mil Specification and Standards US Citizenship required PREFERRED: Good Electrical and Mechanical design concept skills (machined enclosures for electronics a plus) Working knowledge of Mil Specification and Standards Strong oral and written communication skills to interface with key internal and external customers Strong analytical skills Associates Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering Requires a degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness to design and deliver highly advanced solutions Background in defense industry ABOUT CAES CAES is the largest provider of analog and radiation hardened technology for the United States aerospace and defense industry.
