The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are hiring a Contract Compliance Analyst. The Contract Compliance Analyst position within the Customer Operations Contracting organization is responsible for monitoring and facilitating the resolution of non-compliant customer contracts. This role will serve as the driver of all reporting, analysis and strategic guidance with regards to reviewing the annual contract commitments for QuidelOrtho's customers. Additionally, the oversight and management of the contract termination process will be a key function of this role, ensuring that final resolution and remediation between the customer and QuidelOrtho is processed in a timely manner, and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.

The Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain monthly reports of non-compliant contracts and analyze sales data to ensure accurate capture of all customer sales.

  • Read and interpret contract language to determine compliance requirements and remedy options

  • Present a summary of non-compliant contracts to Contract Managers and Field Sales Representatives, including specific guidance on remedy options and required documentation.

  • Manage the timeline of activities and keep detailed notes regarding next steps and assignment of duties.

  • Ensure an efficient cadence of follow up calls with stakeholders to keep the compliance resolution timeline on track.

  • Calculate early termination fees/penalties per the contract terms, as required.

  • Oversee the equipment removal process and ensure proper documentation is approved and distributed.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years experience working in contracting, healthcare compliance, or related field.

  • Prior project or process management experience a plus

  • Ability to review and understand legal terms and conditions.

  • Ability to learn and demonstrate working knowledge of contracting and contracting systems and how serve as subject matter expert on the compliance resolution process.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, resourcefulness, and follow-through are essential for end-to-end management of the compliance resolution process.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required, enabling efficient document creation, data analysis, and communication.

  • Individual must be able to work both independently and in a team setting.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. Individuals must demonstrate the ability to communicate via telephone, e-mail, and video conference to internal customers daily.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of management, including senior leadership, when necessary.

The Key Working Relationships

  • Sales Data Analysts: Work closely with Data Analysts on reporting requirements and data integrity.

  • Contract Managers: Partner with Contract Managers to resolve non-compliant customer contracts. Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance resolution options and advise on strategies.

  • Field Sales Representative: Partner with Fields Sales Representatives to ensure timely communication and completion of all compliance resolution activities.

  • QuidelOrtho Management: Interacts with Sales Leadership, Contracting Leadership and Finance stakeholders when addressing policy exceptions and contract terminations, and interacts with other aspects of the organization as required (e.g. HR, IT, Customer Service, etc.)

The Work Environment

Typical hybrid office environment. Must have the discipline, organization skills and self-motivation to work autonomously in a home office environment, as permitted.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally required to reach, climb, or balance. Must be physically able to travel up to 10% of the time. On a typical workday, 80% of the time will be on computer, doing paperwork, or on phone. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on that facts and circumstances of each case. The salary for this position is $58,000-$99,000. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
