What You Will Own?

Proficiency in creating and running automated Test Plan scenarios to ensure quality of system and its internal/external interfaces. Analyzing and validating execution results.

Development an automation framework to have the capability of develop automation tests

Develop dashboards to present the failure/success rates for tests running on top of production system

Interaction with development team, functional testing teams, production and product management.

What You Need for Success? in computer science or equivalent

At least 3 years as a test automation engineer

  • Must.

Proven experience with C# programming language (For C# developers

  • Java knowledge is required)

  • Must

Strong, proven experience in test automation, automation tools, and test frameworks.

Superior analytical and problem solving skills

  • Must.

Understanding of development life cycle in SCRUM (Agile) world.

Strong understanding of web and web-related technologies

  • Advantage.

Comfortable working in a Linux and Windows environments.

Good communication skills.

Each sprint, you will write automation tests and create new test harnesses. As necessary, you will implement new automation tools and create automated test systems. Over the first three months, you will help define the test automation plan and test automation environment for your team while delivering upon sprint goals for the team. Three months and beyond, you’ll help ensure the foundation you establish with your team facilitates best practices and build a community of practice across multiple scrum teams.</div> <div>Responsibilities</div> <div>· Build advanced automated test suites to test our educational products.</div> <div>· Collaborate with development and test engineering teams to automate testing.</div> <div>· Drive test automation and framework development.</div> <div>· Train and mentor other team members.</div> <div>Success Criteria A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate facility and experience with automation testing. The candidate will demonstrate effective strategies for where to introduce automation testing, and how to do so across a full-stack development architecture, including database, APIs, application interfaces, and various user- and web-facing application tiers.</div> <div>Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in writing tests using test frameworks (Nightwatch JS, Selenium or similar), with browser APIs/technologies (e.g. CSS3/DOM, local storage, A11y, Canvas); proficient with Unix/Linux environments; and deep knowledge of Internet technologies. Familiarity with continuous deployment and code management strategies are essential.</div> <div>Finally, our team is collaborative and we value our culture.
