Role Overview

At Carrier, we're in the process of fast-growing our digital capabilities and optimizing our software development processes. Together, we'll transform our products and services to build a more seamless and creative digital experience for our employees, customers, partners and suppliers.

As part of this transformation, we are looking for a dynamic individual to support the project effort to transition and establish a new environment for a global IT Contract management team. You will drive strategic enablement of the separation and work with digital technology teams in partnership with various functional organizations.

Essential Responsibilities

Serve as a key member of the Digital Technology Team aiding in the Carrier Separation Program. As a key team member, support in contract review activities and have a strong understanding of Software licensing, and experience with services based contracts. This role requires ability to work in multiple work streams and manage projects while collaborating with all effectively to prioritize and execute projects against a project schedule. You will have knowledge of various software licensing pricing models, billing processes, and SAAS models.

You will be expected to both lead and take an active role in the execution of performance management, relationship management, contract management, and financial management. This includes:

  • Coordinating cross-functional vendor communication

  • Reporting vendor SLA performance to senior management

  • Establishing processes for monitoring vendor performance and communicating to partners

  • Establishing baselines and targets for 3rd party efficiency

  • Leading the overall governance process between Carrier and vendor to ensure consistent alignment

  • Developing senior relationships

  • Advising teams on changes to standard terms and agreements in contracts

  • Running the audits of service providers to assure compliance to all contractual provisions

  • Tracking and resolve contract issues

  • Reviewing financial payments to suppliers

  • Reviewing performance credits and Return on Investment for critical achievements

  • Developing the tools strategy for understanding, monitoring, and forecasting 3rd party spend

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field. Master's degree is helpful.

  • 4-7 years' experience with IT Contract negotiations and Software/SAAS Licensing like Microsoft and Oracle

  • Program management, Budget management, Leadership, Team management, Vendor negotiations is a plus.

Overview: We are looking for a Tax Analyst to be a member of our Tax team. We currently have a small team of Tax professionals that prepare the tax provision and related tax disclosures for Dycom's SEC reporting requirements, support Dycom and its 60+ subsidiaries with their indirect tax issues, as well as prepare consolidated corporate level income and franchise tax returns for federal and state. You will be essential in supporting our team with the day to day responsibilities of meeting the needs of our reporting deadlines as well as ensure we are meeting the needs of the management team and all of our subsidiaries. While you will mainly work independently, you will need to consistently communicate with the Tax team on your progress. Responsibilities: * Prepare and review detailed tax work papers and other deliverables pertaining to compliance, tax accounting, tax audits tax planning and corporate projects. * Prepare and review federal, state and city income tax returns * Perform research and prepare appropriate memo documentation * Support both the areas of state tax including state income tax compliance and non-income based taxes (sales/use, property, fuel) affecting the construction industry * Prepare and review indirect returns (gross receipts, tangible returns, business returns..etc) * Prepare and update process documentation relevant to responsibilities when necessary * Assist with implementation of process improvements and the automation of internal processes * Assist with other tax duties to support various business transactions (debt transactions, acquisitions..etc). * Provide support to subsidiary controllers with any direct or indirect tax questions, research, and audit support Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in accounting required * 0-2 years' experience * Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required * CPA license and/or a Masters in Tax preferred * Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel (up-to 10%) when required * Team player with a positive attitude and tenacity to complete responsibilities on time and deliver accurate results * Self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities and accountability of results * Ability to take feedback constructively and turn it into results and/or improvements * Ability to establish and maintain good communication with all team members * Insightful thinker with proven ability to bring information together to find opportunities to improve and innovate * Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work both independently and collaboratively * Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment * Ability to research tax issues and accurately document findings, conclusions, and recommendations __________________________________________________________________ Our Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
