Job Description:

Position responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis of customer information to include sales as needed by our internal customers to evaluate LOC requests from external customers

  • Support contract audit request with documentation and pricing eligibility data to support the GPO

  • Manage membership projects related to system implementations and LOC process improvement

  • Manage GPO designation changes, GPO membership inquiries, and processing of price activations

  • Manage the inflow of customer initiated member designation in all forms: MDF, LOC, faxed, electronic, etc.

  • Assist in the administration of GPO and IDN contracts to include maintaining pricing in revenue management systems, ERP systems, documentation, and reporting

  • Support cross functional collaboration as it relates to data and process improvements (i.e. distributor communication and reporting)

  • Maintain GPO membership rosters and implement a structured process for internally auditing all major GPO rosters and IDN rosters against Stryker's coding and routinely validate and update on a pre-determined schedule

  • Report metrics weekly and monthly on membership coding changes

  • Respond to the sales forces of all MedSurg divisions to support defining members of GPO's within regions or territories, facilitate communication to the sales force from the National Accounts team as needed, and assisting the rep, via review of sales history, to determine eligibility for more committed tiers of GPO pricing.

  • Generate and submit periodic reports regarding responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

  • Respond promptly to customer initiated GPO coding via signed letters of commitment or membership designation forms.

  • Provide exceptional service and support to Stryker National and Corporate Account Managers and Sales Representatives in the field as needed

  • Practice all daily tasks as noted above with an awareness of the ongoing process of pricing integrity and support those initiatives

  • Work closely with the Indirect Channel team to address GPO membership and tiered pricing inquiries from customers and distributors

  • Assist in problem solving relative to pricing, eligibility, or membership issues

  • Work with a diverse business community to document as-is and to-be business processes.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics
  • 3 to 5 years of business experience, medical manufacturing/healthcare environment preferred

The position will be responsible for monthly close, forecasting, reporting, business analytics, financial planning, expense management, and ad-hoc analysis. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Responsible for gathering information through various sources and preparing financial analyses regarding the business, operations, efficiencies, etc. Communicates analysis to influence needed business changes to improve financial position. * Responsible for month-end close activities and business unit reporting. Ensuring that all reported data are accurate and on time. * Prepare forecasts/ budgets and present to Senior Management. * Works closely with internal customers & cross functionally (e.g. Functional leadership and BU finance counterparts). Focuses on customer satisfaction by providing positive leadership, teamwork and empowerment to solve problems in a consultative approach while operating with honesty and integrity to provide highly responsive and timely results for the customer. * Continually improves the quality of financial information through ever improving timeliness, accuracy, clarity, and transparency. * Ensures proper accounting control procedures and systems are in place. * Ensures compliance with established Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Corporate, Human Resources policies and procedures. Education & Special Trainings * Bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. * 4-6 years of experience in accounting or related finance position. Qualifications & Experience * Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills plus strong analytical and critical thinking skills. * Strong results orientation with high degree of attention to detail. * 2-5 years of experience with consolidated financial statement reporting. Mental Requirements * Must be able to understand and explain accounting guidelines and procedures. * Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine accounting issues using independent judgment. * Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies and errors (e.g. in the printed word, accounting reports or statements, etc.).
