The Mayor's Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence (ENDGBV) develops policies and programs, provides training and prevention education, conducts research and evaluations, performs community outreach and operates the NYC Family Justice Centers. These comprehensive service centers provide vital social service, civil legal and criminal justice assistance under one roof to survivors of domestic and gender-based violence. The office collaborates with City agencies and community stakeholders to ensure access to inclusive services for survivors of domestic and gender-based violence.
The Mayor's Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence is recruiting for a talented STAFF ANALYST to function as the CONTRACT ANALYST Contract Analyst to manage several domestic and gender-based violence related contracts, as assigned, with organizations that provide services to New Yorkers in support of the missions of ENDGBV.
The Mayor's Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence is recruiting for one (1) Associate Staff Analyst to function as a Contract Analyst.
The Contract Analyst will:

Minimum Qualifications
1.A master's degree from an accredited college or university, accredited by regional, national, professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; or in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; or in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relations, employee
benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or in a related area; or
2.A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, accredited by regional, national, professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and three years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in "1" above.
Preferred Skills
Strong proficiency in Excel and Word, required
Experience in contract or program monitoring and/or management, preferred
Strong organizational, analytical, proofreading and writing skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to converse professionally with executive, programmatic, and administrative staffing of an organization
Ability to problem solve, while balancing competing priorities, complex situations and tight deadlines
Maintain an enthusiastic work ethic, in addition to being able to work well with others in a diverse team environment.

New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment.
