POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Contract Administrator to join our team. The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's contract processes, ensuring that all agreements are properly executed and maintained. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with various departments and external partners.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Act as custodian of the contract repository; maintain a comprehensive database (Ariba) of all contracts and related documentation
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate contract execution, including routing and approvals
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely renewal of contracts and manage contract amendments as needed
  • Understand the company's record retention schedule and manage contract repository in accordance with policy
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments related to contracts
  • Provide reports from the contract lifecycle management tool (currently Ariba) as needed, for transparency/visibility across stakeholder groups
  • Actively run & distribute reports (i.e. - expiring contracts reports)
  • Support identification and retrieval of contracts for business activity (i.e. - mergers & acquisitions, etc.)
  • Track and report SLA, KPIs, and other team performance metrics
  • Act as a "poweruser" of Ariba Contracts

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a contract administration, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Fluency in English required.

Skills/Abilities

  • MS Office (required)
  • Ariba Contracts or similar e-Contracting applications (required)
  • Able to work and communicate well across functions and influence key stakeholders to support business priorities
  • Proven ability to work on cross functional and multi-cultural teams
