The Contract Administrator demonstrates expert level knowledge in acquisition regulations, the Basic Contracts terms and conditions, order procedures, proposal preparation, negotiations, and Basic Contract/Order administration. The Contract Administrator must coordinate with the Contract Program Manager on all reporting requirements and provides expert advice on acquisition policies, regulations and procedures to the Acquisition Team, Contracting Officer (CO), COR, Project Managers, and other agency managers as requested. Leadership in the areas of SOP development and process improvement; policy development and implementation; and compliance and recordkeeping audits is also provided by the Contract Administrator. In the execution of duties, the Contract Administrator utilizes agency systems including, but not limited to, ARIBA, ILMS, GFMS, and GSD Tracker to enter and retrieve data with the permission of the Government. General activities under the scope of responsibility include:
  • providing oversight to contract transitions and protest
  • responding to Congressional inquiries
  • preparing and completing modifications
  • monitoring burn rates
  • working in close coordination with Program Manager on contract guidance
  • leading and conduct contract briefings and periodic meetings with internal and external stake holders
  • assisting with quality assurance surveillance functions and support the COR, as required, by providing advice, recommendations, and documentation
  • working with staff on contract close outs
  • preparing and analyzing CPARS evaluations
  • assisting with the preparation of periodic COR reports for each supported contract, and generates special reports, including IAAs, when necessary.
  • maintaining a centralized file of all appropriate and required acquisition documents.
  • leads the planning and development of acquisition-based guides, templates, and instructions on preparing contracting documents as needed.
  • leads on the development of procurement SOPs.
  • leads on the advisement of policy changes.
  • leads and support contract file reviews.
  • leads and participates in site visits for contract compliance and analytical studies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Five (5) years of experience with federal acquisition with direct knowledge and understanding of contract regulations, acquisition principles, and pre and post award acquisition support functions
  • Five (5) years of written and oral communications in an office environment requiring in-person and remote engagement with high level public officials and program colleagues
  • Five (5) years of experience developing, integrating, and implementing acquisition solutions for diverse, highly complex requirements across multiple areas and disciplines
  • Five (5) years of experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically: MS Word, MS Power Point, MS SharePoint, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Legal Operations is the organizational backbone of the legal team at Palantir and our Deal Administrators directly support all aspects of revenue generation at the company. As a Deal Administrator, you will be handling a wide variety of responsibilities throughout the customer contracting lifecycle. You will support Palantir's lawyers and contracting specialists, in collaboration with our Sales team and executives, to facilitate the growth of our business by managing all aspects of contract administration. As a [Commercial / IG / USG] Deal Administrator, you will become an expert in your specific customer vertical, take ownership for specialized scaling projects and critical initiatives as it relates to each business unit. Throughout your work, you take initiative, operate with resourcefulness, and execute quickly and effectively the processes that drive revenue at Palantir. Most importantly, you have a true desire to be helpful and go above and beyond to solve challenges. You'll leverage your excellent communication skills, and exercise tact and diplomacy in helping to manage relationships with teams across Palantir.
