Job Description

Contract Administrator: Alpharetta, GA or Colorado Spring, CO-In office position

In this role, you have the opportunity to assume a key role for contracting with individual hospitals, IDNs and GPOs within the medical market. You will also support the coordination of RFI/RFPs from highly influential hospital groups that will make a significant impact on our future business.

You are responsible for

  • Receive, review and return standardized inbound contract proposals from US based sales team for healthcare customers to ensure financial and legal compliance per company policy.

  • Identify requirements of contracts and amendments.

  • Author daily custom contracts, terms, and conditions of sale.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine need and scope of potential contracts.

  • Obtain approvals in accordance with stipulations in the contract and with company policies. Maintain tracking of contract versions and organize related information per company policies.

  • Act as a liaison between Sales Operations, Finance, Legal and Customer Service departments to ensure proper treatment of sales transactions.

  • Assist in managing and monitoring contract compliance among US customers.

  • Monitor forecasts for US Sales and assist in building forecast projections.

  • Assist with monthly analysis processes such as system placement, demand plan and success to plan by US region.

You are a part of Our pricing and contracting team performing as a highly influential senior level teammate creating high impact results while helping to achieve our mission of delivering consistent high quality, safe and effective, regulatory compliant products and services.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 4+ year's business experience including contract and proposal development with writing focus, agreement analysis and direct negotiation experience.

  • Experience in supporting and negotiating sales transactions.

  • 3+ years practical experience reviewing, redlining and negotiating substantive external customer facing legal and commercial contract terms within established profiles both in writing and telephonically.

  • 1+ year's sales support experience.

  • Experience and understanding of GAAP revenue recognition guidelines of capital hardware, software and extended service sales agreements.

  • Experience with CRM, Prefer Salesforce.com Sales Cloud

  • Work experience in business law highly preferred

  • Working knowledge of healthcare systems such as Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN) and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) highly preferred

  • Works well without supervision

  • Work experience in medical device or pharmaceutical company preferred

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across functional areas to ensure mission requirements are met. General Responsibilities: Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
