POSITION REPORTS TO: Strategic Sourcing and Distribution Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring consistent management of all proposals contracts. This includes oversight of the contract management process, as well as development of specific standards for bidding and submission, contract negotiation and document management, as well as storing, maintaining, administering the contracts after execution.
Practice, support and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Muckleshoot Casino.Oversee organizational contract development and management activities and enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance. Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into organizational databases and securely maintained.Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of, budget, payment terms, general language and provisions.Lead contract review and communicate with vendors or suppliers regarding contract acceptance.Serve as primary point of contact for existing vendors or suppliers and lead the review, negotiation of purchase orders, including ensuring the company is able to comply with and aware of all applicable regulations and requirements.Engage stakeholders in contract review (new and change orders) and negotiation decisions involving legal, regulatory contract standards and cost targets before acceptance.Ensure contract data and information is current and any changes are communicated to internal functions and to suppliers. Initiate vendor identification process as needed, for new vendor, supplier, product or process to communicate the contract award and provide visibility of contract requirements, schedule, and compliance obligations.Maintain subcontract files from both procurement and program management.Review contractual performance of all parties to ensure compliance with terms and identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal.Obtain, review, and act upon supplier performance reports.Project cost analysis, reporting, and other metrics as needed.Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into organizational databases and maintained. Record management and retention.Develop and maintain a professional and positive working relationship with vendors, guests and suppliers.Participate with strategic sourcing, project managers, operations and accounting to help maintain product configuration management.Review vendor or supplier contracts to assure the accuracy of current contractual reporting requirements.Establish and maintain procedures for storage, retention and destruction of company records, processing, storing and retrieving current and historical design, technical and program documents according to project, vendor/supplier and company practices and requirements.Follow up on outstanding quotations to secure orders, improve quotation process and measure effectiveness.Update, maintain and report weekly and monthly data regarding quoting and sales metrics.Establish and maintain procedures for storage, retention and destruction of company records, processing, storing and retrieving current and historical design, technical and program documents according to project, customer and company practices and requirements.Monitor and maintain Sales/Purchasing agreements, sub-contracts, IP licensing agreements, master agreements, distribution agreements (resellers, agents, joint marketing, etc.), commercial contracting.Perform contract closeout activities including update of system to complete line item deliverables and ensure information is communicated to accounting for invoicing.Develop, document and implement processes to ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, continual process improvement.Maintain, administer and audit all current Muckleshoot Casino Purchase/Sales agreements, including verification of compliance with current terms conditions, and execution periods.Coordinate contract reviews and negotiations for final legal review by the Office of the Tribal Attorney.Create, facilitate and maintain a positive work environment.Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive professional demeanor.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION (required and preferred):
A business-related bachelor's degree with five (5) years of relevant contract drafting experience.
Experience with gaming contracts strongly preferred.
Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) preferred.

Demonstrate advanced knowledge of contracting concepts, Uniform Commercial Code, applicable contract acquisition law and regulations and other applicable law, including but not limited to Tribal Law.
